Mark a Statement as Saved

Some statements never need saving: their rows reached your tables another way, such as through an overlapping import, or the rows left are ones you don't want. Mark them as saved to close them. They move to **Saved to tables** as read-only records that list the tables their rows are in. Rows that aren't in a table stay in that record, marked **Not in a table**, and the dialog says how many there are before you confirm.

  • One statement: open it, open the actions menu and choose Mark as saved. The confirmation says how many of its rows are in tables already.
  • Several: select Tidy up at the top of the Statements page. It lists statements whose every row is in a table, and statements nobody has worked on for 30 days. Those with every row in a table are ticked; tick any others, then select Mark as saved.

The dashboard's To do list links to Tidy up when there are statements to close. Only statements that have finished importing can be marked as saved.
